Slide Rail Systems

Combination Pit Shoring

  • The Combination Pit uses elements from both standard and corner slide rail systems. It is used in situations where an excavation with a larger clear opening is needed that still has the requirement for shoring to four sides
  • Depths achievable are the same as the standard slide rail systems
  • External walers are placed with internal bracing (where required) at the base of the intermediate rails. Once in place the sliding frame assembly is removed to provide a completely clear opening
  • The system consists of Standard and Corner Rails along with panels. Panels are available in 2000mm, 3000mm and 4000mm lengths. Using a combination of these you are able to achieve various lengths

  • Widths using this combination method are limited to that of a single panel, usually 3000mm or 4000mm
  • Limit State Loads range from 71kN/m² to 171.6.kN/m²
  • Base Panels incorporate a cutting edge to improve ‘Dig and Push’ installation method
